Why do we need locations?
We need locations to identify, for example, a persons place of birth, place of death or abode.
What is a location?
A location is a unique record stored within the database in a hierarchical structure.
For example Prescot has the unique identification number 37788 and is classified as a township. In turn we know that Prescot belongs to Lancashire and Lancashre as we know is part of England giving.
